The 2026 IIHF Continental Cup Disciplinary Panel has issued a one (1) game suspension to Angers Ducs player Herve, Jordan (number 92) for a violation of Official Playing Rule 59 (Cross-Checking).
The incident occurred during Game number 5 between Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk and Angers Ducs on 16 January 2026.
The Disciplinary Panel determined that the player delivered a cross-check to the upper arm of an opposing player with enough force to break his stick in half. The video shows that while Torpedo’s players were celebrating a goal, the player deliberated used his stick to deliver a high cross-check on an opponent during a stoppage in play.
Therefore, as the Player violated Official Playing Rule 59 – Cross-Checking, he shall be sanctioned as follows:
• Suspension for one game
Due to the suspension, the Player will miss today’s game between Angers Ducs and HK Mogo (game number 7 of the tournament).
