The wait is finally over. We couldn't be more excited for women's hockey at the 2026 Winter Olympics and to bring you the first edition of our Power Rankings for Milan! The Americans, debuting in top spot, enter these Olympics on a roll as the reigning world champions with PWHL superstars like Hilary Knight, Kendall Coyne Schofield, and Taylor Heise. Archrival Canada, eager to defend its 2022 Olympic title, is close behind in second place with its own cast of greats like Marie-Philip Poulin, Brianne Jenner, and Renata Fast. And Finland maintains its reputation as the perennial third-place favourite, led by veteran talents like Jenni Hiirikoski, Susanna Tapani, and Michelle Karvinen. Bring on the thrills at the peak of this sport!
