Thailand and Iceland lead their groups after opening days of WM18IIIB

Thailand sits at the top of Group B after the opening days of the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship Division III. With three wins in three games, the Thai team has collected nine points and built a strong goal difference. Turkmenistan is currently in second place with three points, while Luxembourg has one point after its first three games.

In Group A, Iceland has taken the lead with two wins from three games and six points. Bosnia and Herzegovina follows in second place with five points, while RSA currently sits third with three points. With several games already played in both groups, the race for the top positions remains open as the preliminary round continues.
