The International Ice Hockey Federation has announced the winners of the individual awards and the tournament all-star team after the gold medal game of the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship.
Vojtech Cihar was named MVP. The 18-year-old Czech forward, who led his team in scoring with 12 points, received the Murray Costello World Junior Championship MVP Award. The award is named in honour of an IIHF Hall of Fame inductee, longtime IIHF Council Member, and former Hockey Canada president who passed away in 2024.
