TUNE IN FOR THE ICE HOCKEY, HEAD TO THE OFFICIAL FAN ZONE

The Official Fan Zone outside the Ostrava Arena is primarily for you, the fans to thoroughly enjoy the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship! Every day, we'll be broadcasting ice hockey games on a large screen. Once again, there will be exciting ice hockey-themed activities for you, as well as a major exhibition by the Official Main Sponsor Skoda, the Official Merchandise store, and activities organized by Official Sponsors and Official Partners. You can also look forward to concerts by popular bands, plenty of good food and drinks. You will also have the opportunity to participate in activation games, win exciting prizes or purchase souvenirs.

• 11:00 – until the end of the evening game

BEFORE ENTERING THE OFFICIAL FAN ZONE

We won't allow entry into the Official Fan Zone with the following items:



Be prepared for checks at the entrance; leave any excess items at home or store them in one of the lockers around the Ostrava Arena. For safety reasons, we unfortunately cannot allow items such as bikes or scooters inside, and of course, no dangerous objects or outside food.
 
Around the Ostrava Arena there are deposit boxes where you can store oversized luggage, for example. The deposit can be paid by credit card or cash. The price per item is CZK 50 or EUR 2.

WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO?

GAMES ON THE LED SCREEN, RICH ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMME
 
Every game day, there will be screenings of games on a large LED screen for all fans. Before or between games, you will be able to enjoy musical and DJ performances to get in the mood for the hockey game. In the Official Fan Zone in front of the Ostrava Arena we have invited bands from Slovakia - Iné Kafe, Helen's Eyes, Hrdza, from Poland we have a storm of musicians from Big Bike Orchestra, Foxy Hunters or revival bands such as Prague Queen, Rolling Stones Revival Brno, Red Hot Chilli Peppers Revival, The Gregz & Co. or Banda del Caffe, and the evening games will be accompanied by DJs.  The program at the Official Fan Zone will also include meetings with specific hockey legends or shows featuring the official mascots – rabbits Bob and Bobek.

 
ACTIVITIES FOR FANS OF ALL AGES
 
Right at the entrance, you will find a large exhibition by the Official Main Sponsor Skoda, as well as the Official Merchandise store where you can purchase a puck, jersey, or the official plush mascot along with other souvenirs from the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. You can also look forward to games, quizzes, photo booths and win prizes at the different display positions of Official Sponsors and Official Partners of the 2024 IIHF WM.
 
GREAT FOOD AND BEVERAGE ON OFFER
 
Throughout the Official Fan Zone, there will be several stalls with excellent catering including great Czech beer. The staff will pour you drinks into limited edition reusable cups with 2024 IIHF WM motifs. Then you just decide whether to take the cup home or return it.
 
CASHLESS SYSTEM
Note that the Official Fan Zone will be operated cashless.
