The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), founded in 1908, is the worldwide governing body for ice hockey with 84 member associations. In addition to overseeing international rules, officiating, player transfers, and development programs, the IIHF organizes ice hockey at the Olympic Games and runs over 25 World Championship tournaments each year across men’s, women’s, and junior categories.
Finance Manager (f/m/d) 100%
The IIHF Administration & Finance Department is looking to recruit a motivated Finance Manager to support the IIHF and its stakeholders on a wide range of finance and accounting matters. The Finance Manager reports directly to the Administration & Finance Director and executes the following tasks:Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for accounts payables, accounts receivables and general ledger
- Responsible for the expense management
- Preparing estimates and financial reports internally and for stakeholders
- Support in annual financial statements, budgeting and internal controlling
- Contact person for internal and external stakeholders
- Administrator for the accounting system (Abacus)
- General financial administration
Skills and Qualifications
- Commercial education with a focus on accounting / finance
- 5+ years of experience in accounting / finance
- Previous experience in Swiss accounting standards
- Previous experience in Abacus is strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English and German is required

Legal Intern (12-month, full-time, f/m/d)
The IIHF Legal Department is looking to recruit a motivated Legal Intern to support its team on a wide range of legal, compliance, and integrity matters. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international sports law and to develop legal skills in a global environment.Duration
The internship will be for 12 months. The IIHF would like this position to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, editing and reviewing legal documents (letters, memoranda, regulations, contracts, etc.)
- Performing legal research and analysis
- Optimizing and maintaining the case management system
- Assisting with integrity investigations and activities
- Preparing disciplinary cases
- Supporting legal projects
Core Qualifications
- Recently obtained a degree in Law or a related field
- 2 years of legal experience which may include internships
- Previous experience in Sports Law
- Legal document formation, preparation, review, and drafting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Previous legal experience, which may include internships, in an international environment
- Relevant experience in sports
- Fluency in another language(s) (other than English)
