The main presenter for this topic is coming from Austria, the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy. We will present their mail principle "The principle of 51% education and 49% sport is firmly anchored in the Red Bull Academy's mission statement." One of the europe's most modern youth training center, opened in Salzburg in summer 2014. The Academy is based on a comprehensive and carefully planned concept, and the sporting infrastructure for Academy players.
In addition, the IIHF, in co-operation with Infront Sports and Media, operates a Program called Growing the Game Fund. The Mission of the Fund is to bring all relevant stakeholders together to achieve a lasting impact on ice hockey development in the entire world. We will present one of the projects funded last season; Slovenia cooperating together with 3 additional countries are focusing on high performance and development with new camera systems that were funded through the Fund and are used for several purposes to improve hockey globally.
